May 2000 -  Present	Embedded Software Engineer, AT&T Wireless, Seattle Washington US Responsible for development and maintenance of platform and OAMP embedded software for the Fixed Wireless Project. Key developer for the software module responsible for base station and 5ESS switch communications. Responsible for part of the design, implementation and maintenance of the interface between the embedded base station software and the UNIX workstation network management system.
Sep 1998 -  Apr 2000	Firmware Engineer, Creo Products Inc. Burnaby, B.C. Canada Developing and testing firmware using C and assembly for Creo’s in-house electronics that uses the Motorola 68000 series microprocessors. The firmware uses the Nucleus PLUS RTOS. Responsible for the communications modules, non-volatile storage modules, firmware health modules and many other common modules that are shared amongst different Creo products. Assist in the development of the NT software that communicates with the firmware. Also responsible for developing and maintaining Perl scripts that automatically generates documentation HTML pages by parsing source codes.
June 1996 - Sept 1997	Marketing Executive, Global Vision, Richmond, B.C. Canada Present Cantonese, Mandarin and English presentations detailing company products, background and marketing strategies to potential customers. Assisted in training new employees.
Sep - Dec  1995	Co-op Software Engineer, Sea Hornet Marine Inc. N. Van, B.C. Canada Used the C programming language to code the control algorithm and the communication link of different modules of the audio and video data acquisition system used by BC Ferries.
Jan - April  1995	Co-op Product Test Engineer, PMC Sierra Inc. Burnaby, B.C. Canada Characterized the STXC, a SONET/SDH transport overhead transceiver using the HP82000 IC tester. Also programmed the Tektronics TDS820 digital oscilloscope to measure output jitter using HPIB programming. All programs were coded in C.
May - Aug 1994	Co-op Jr. Software Tester, Unisys Canada Inc., Scarborough, Ont. Canada Assisted in developing an automated testing system for the company’s software product, System 9 (a geographic information system), using languages called tcl/tk, Expect, and Dejagnu.
